September’s Weston-super-Mare Jobs Fair will be the biggest yet!

The Weston-super-Mare Jobs Fair organised by MP John Penrose rolls into town on the 27th September with hundreds of local jobs available.

Taking place at the Winter Gadens on Weston-super-Mare’s Royal Parade between 10.30am and 2.00pm, this event is free to attend with no pre-event registration required.

Open to everyone, the event will enable jobseekers and those looking for a career change to meet with employers face to face. Around 50 organisations will be ready to have a down-to-earth chat with you before handing you an application form if you think one of their positions sounds right for you.

John Penrose said: “The Jobs Fair is a way for my team to play a part in Weston’s economic rebirth. After every event we have local people saying they’ve found a job they are excited about and that’s a great feeling for all of us.

“This year’s Jobs Fair will be the biggest yet and we’ve worked hard to make sure there is more variety of jobs available than ever before too”

Businesses actively looking to fill vacancies, include: Avon & Somerset Police, Rock Up, Abatec Recruitment, Bakers Dolphin, Alliance Homes, Utility Warehouse, The Army, Weston College and many more!

Sponsoring the event are Brandon Trust, Cineworld, McDonalds, The Weston Mercury, CTS, and Elysium. They too will be looking to fill a range of vacancies on the day.

Job hunters will also be able to get career and interview advice from organisations such as prospects, Skills4Work, Learn By Design and Jobcentre Plus as well as learn about volunteering opportunities, apprenticeships and a whole host of courses.
