‘Railing Against Abuse’ is an annual event held in Grove Park and is arranged by Weston’s Soroptimist International group who look to empower women through charitable work and awareness campaigns.
John Penrose MP was honoured to be invited to the event where orange bows were tied to the railings by Soroptimists from the SW Region and the Mayor. Citizens Advice North Somerset, Next Link and North Somerset Council participated. A new bench was unveiled too.
