Waiting times for patients in Weston are set to be slashed with a new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) for the town, announced last week. Weston CDC will initially use mobile facilities based at the Locality Health Centre on the Bournville Estate, before moving to a permanent home.
John said: “When something’s not right with our health, we all want to know what’s happening as fast as possible. It stops us from fearing the worst, and starting treatment quickly can literally save lives. Waiting times ballooned during the pandemic, and this new centre is a vital step towards bringing them back down again faster. It should make a real difference for local people and their families.”
