John has used Twitter to welcome the Government’s commitment to tackle sewage overflows that damage habitats and risk public health. John said:
Great to see Ministers get behind moves to stop sewage overflows into rivers after heavy rains. Needs upstream fixes as prevention is better than cure, & will help Weston beach (particularly Uphill Slipway) so it’s even better for residents & visitors too!
