John and Simon Clarke publish the ‘Local government procurement: fraud and corruption risk review’

It is estimated that fraud and error costs local government between £275 million and £2.75 billion, which is money that should be spent on public services.

To provide guidance of finding and tackling this loss, John and Simon Clarke have published a review into the risks of fraud and corruption in local government procurement as committed to in the UK anti-corruption strategy 2017 to 2022.
