The closure of Weston General’s A & E department at night will be a huge issue locally. Many people will feel that as recruiting problems have been an issue for years then the unit will not re-open again any time soon. The fear will be that the night time closure will be permanent. I would like to be kept up to date with progress on this issue. Many thanks.

Dear Mr Oldridge,
We will keep this website up-to-date with all the latest news about the Hospital. John and his team completely agree that this is a huge issue and John has said he will fight to have the A&E opened as soon as possible and is seeking from Ministers and Health Chiefs as to the plan to make this happen.
