Weston's MP John Penrose has welcomed this week's Government announcement of £750,000 to improve Junction 21 of the M5. It is the final chapter of a 10 year campaign to cut tailbacks and delays for local residents and businesses.
John said: "This is the final piece of improvement to cut tailbacks and delays to keep J21 moving. "It's taken 10 years to get it done and finally Westonians have won. After this, J21 will be at full capacity and we will need a whole new Junction - J21a - to cope with the next phase of growth.”
